Title: Welcome to the Capital of Caring Forum
Post by: admin on June 22, 2007, 09:43:33 AM
Hello and welcome to the Capital of Caring forum!

This is the 'engine room' for getting the 'Capital of Caring effect' out there into the communities and neighbourhoods of Merseyside! It's the place to share your uplifting and optimistic 'caring' stories and to suggest and listen to ideas for ensuring that Merseyside is the best place for our children and grandchildren to live!

Capital of Caring is non-judgemental and so censorship of what people think or say is really not on the agenda. But we do carry a big responsibility not to give offence, and so we merely ask that you are polite and constructive. :)

Create topics and messages about any subject that you care about. There's nothing too small nor too large... caring about your pet gerbil is just as important to one person as global warming may be to another. And if you want to talk about the caring experience you have had or have witnessed, please tell us!

Finally, if you consider that we live in what is probably already one of the most caring places on earth - then perhaps you will agree that could maybe do with telling it to ourselves a bit more often! And the more we say it, the more we will believe it... and then, the more we will BE it - to ourselves, to each other and to anyone who wants to talk about us!

Remember - Caring is the culture that costs us nothing, but gives us everything.

Now register, log in and enjoy being a big part of our future!

Hello Ed (and everybody else that was involved today)  :)

Just wanted to say well done for getting Capital of Caring of the ground!!!!!!

Having known of the project for sometime, it was great to actually see a crowded room, the website, the display banners, badges and of course Twiggy & Beaky all in the flesh (or feathers / or wood).

Congratulations to all involved, I know how much passion and hard work was needed to get there
